Gleaning
Are trees on your property dropping their fruit left and right? If so, have you ever thought about the families in our community who'd love to eat this fruit? We at LEAF invite you to harvest the fruit on the tree branches. This is called "gleaning."
By donating your own fruit to LEAF, your contribution will add to the volumes of produce our local food banks will distribute among our friends and neighbors. Together, we can be a community serving a community.
Each Monday and Thursday mornings from 9am to 10:30am, we'll be on hand at LEAF C.R. Stone Garden to accept your donations of fruit. Please limit your items to fresh and unblemished fruit. If you require assistance with delivering, contact us at info@fremontleaf.org.
