United States Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Writer: Nate BernardoNate Bernardo

Did you know that one in ten Americans face hunger every day. The United States Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is one way you can help those in your city who need help. It's the largest one day food drive in America! USPS letter carriers will not only be delivering your mail on Saturday, May 11th but also picking up any non-perishable food donations left by your mail box.

You can pitch in by searching your pantry for any non-perishable foodstuffs that you may not want anymore, and placing them by your mailbox, the mail carrier will do the rest! The food is sorted, and delivered to an area food bank or pantry, where it is available for needy families. You can also drop off goods at your local Post Office.
