  • About the Workshop

    Where: Sabercat Historical Park (Corner of Quema Dr. and Paseo Padre Parkway)
    When: Saturday, August 16 | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m

    Join us for a Native Seed Collection Field Trip with Educator Josh Rubietta from Down by the Bay Nursery! We’ll meet at the corner of Quema Dr. and Paseo Padre Parkway at Sabercat Historical Park for a guided 1.5-hour walk through Sabercat Creek to learn about native seed collecting. Then we’ll head to the LEAF Urban Farm for refreshments, a seed processing demo, and a chance to browse native and edible plants for sale. Bring a water bottle, pencil, envelopes, and sun protection. 

    Refund Policy: Once payment is received, you are registered for the class and there are no refunds or make-ups for a missed class.

    ​​Media Consent: You consent to the use of photos, videos, or other media taken during the event for promotional purposes.
