Garden Education

Led by local experts, our workshops and classes offer hands-on learning at our Urban Gardens, the Alameda County Libraries, and online via Zoom. Explore topics like composting, plant propagation, pruning, beekeeping, and more.

Come get your hands dirty and learn about regenerative agriculture alongside our experienced gardeners at the LEAF Urban Farm! Give back by working on essential garden projects like clearing weeds, mulching, composting, and harvesting fresh food to donate to local food banks.

Creative Arts

Expand your creativity with hands-on arts activities—from mural painting and bread making to creative reuse projects and seasonal crafts that use materials from the garden. These events invite all ages to explore, make, and connect through nature-inspired or sustainable practices.

Bring your class or youth group to explore our LEAF Urban Farm through hands-on, age-appropriate lessons. Our field trips introduce how food is grown and how regenerative agriculture strengthens soil health, ecosystems, and local communities.
